Rules Relating to Arbitration

RULES

The Rules Relating to Arbitration are available as a PDF document, for viewing or download.

The Secretary of the Association, who is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators will be pleased to discuss the Association's arbitration procedure with you.

If you intend to register a claim with the Association, please contact us before doing so as you will be required to submit a registration fee and in the case of non-members, an advance payment against our fees and costs.

RECOMMENDED ARBITRATION CLAUSE

Parties to an Ethanol Contract who wish to have any disputes referred to arbitration under these Rules are recommended to insert in the Contract an arbitration clause in the following form:

“Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contract shall be referred to arbitration before The Ethanol Association of London for settlement in accordance with the Rules Relating to Arbitration. Such arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with English Law. This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law”.
